Why did Roku Remote stop working with Sonos Beam?

I have a roku remote that is not an IR remote control.  I paired it with my Sonos Beam when I first bought the Beam and used it for a couple of months.  One day, the remote no longer controlled the volume on my Beam and sonos system.  Can someone please tell me why this happened and what can be done to fix this problem so I can continue to use my Roku remote to control volume? Thank you,

Try unplugging the TV, Beam, and Roku from power for about a minute. Also check the Roku remote’s batteries. If this doesn’t work, make sure CEC is enabled on your TV and try redoing the TV Setup process in the Sonos app.
