Evening. Can anyone help as to why since I bought a new Samsung TV I'm no longer able to mute the sound? Disables it for approx 2 secs then turns back on. Have the latest TV running with Soundbar and sub.

@PCBlacky Welcome to the Sonos Community and bringing you question to us. You mention that this is a new Samsung TV. Are you using the cable box remote that is using an infrared signal to control the Playbar or the supplied TV remote that may be a Samsung One TV remote that uses an RF signal? If you are using the Samsung One remote please use this link from Samsung to confirm the TV remote is setup for an IR signal and re-add it to the Playbar then test the volume controls. Also, do you run into the same volume control issue when streaming a music source like TuneIn to the Playbar?

Also, please test another remote control that you know uses an IR signal and confirm that the same issues happen with another remote control. Here is our link for adding an IR remote to the Playbar.

After completing the above steps please let us know the results of testing and submit us a diagnostic report using this link and provide us that report number here.
