Sonos One Surround

I purchased two Sonos One speakers and have been unable to connect speakers to Playbase as surround.  I can connect Sonos One speakers as a stereo pair, which makes me believe speakers are connecting to router correctly.  However, they do not pair when following the surround set up.  A message stating “Setup problem - There was a problem preparing your speakers.  Please check your network connection or the power on your speakers in the room.”

P.S - Sonos System Information states Playbase Audio In: Dolby Digital 5.1

Can you connect the One’s on an internet cable temporarily whilst you set them up? Then disconnect the cable. Sometimes that helps.

thanks for your response.  I tried connecting each speaker with direct internet cable to router with no success.

Are they still set as a stereo pair and assigned a roomname? I don’t know if you can reassign them or will need to factory reset them first.
