Sonos ARC sound bar

Hi, during the initial setup of my new Sonos Arc sound bar i think i might have missed a stage when diverted to delve into the TV settings to enable the ARC input. a friend who has a variety of Sonos products thinks i should have at some point had to walk around the room holding my phone as part of the speaker set up process, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. That is Trueplay tuning. It is optional but may improve the sound.

Go into the sound settings for the Arc using an iOS device and tap Trueplay.
