Question

Sonos Amp, Roku, blueray player and HDMI Arc

Hi. I'm thinking about getting an Amp and wondered: if I plug my Amp into the HDMI port on my tv with ARC support and my Roku and Blueray player into the other two HDMI ports, will I be able to get audio for both devices and for TV via a Mohu Leaf antenna? Or should I use optical audio instead?

Thanks.

If the Sonos Amp is connected to your TV via HDMI-ARC, then anything shown on your TV should play through the Sonos.
Note: Sonos can only interpret a Dolby Digital signal, or a stereo signal. If your Blu-ray is sending a DTS signal, the Sonos won’t be able to interpret it. Either the Blu-ray player or the TV would need to be able to transcode it to Dolby Digital.
