Hi, I cannot get the Comcast remote to operate the Playbar on my Vizio E60u-D3 TV.  I am using an optical connection. I was able to set it up properly on the Samsung TV we had it connected previously. I can change the volume only with the Sonos S1 App and not the remote. Anyone have suggestions? Changed to Bitstream per their owners manual Here is what I did to the TV based on their owners manual.

“Digital Audio Out - Changes the type of processing for digital audio out
and HDMI ARC output when connected to a home theater audio system.
Select PCM or Bitstream. “

Hi @rossjz36.

Welcome to the Sonos community and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I would like to share to you how to change the current remote set up on your Sonos Playbar by going through this guide. This guide should help you replace the current remote control set up on your Sonos Playbar.

If the Sonos app prompts no button press has been detected, you may want to follow this guide on how to perform some basic troubleshooting steps.

You may also want to verify with the manufacturer if the remote that came with the TV is Infrared (IR) capable or not. This is because Sonos will only work with IR capable remote.

Please let me know how it goes.
