Playbar and 5.1 output on a Sharp LC60LE650U
I saw that the optical output on the TV is not capable of outputting 5.1 sound from an HDMI source. Is this still the case? I own a LE60LE650U and when I hook up my Apple TV to the Sharp and then output an optical cable from my Sharp to an AVR receiver, my receiver will autodetect DD 5.1 and play normally. Has this changed? Is there anyone with this exact TV that can confirm? I've seen mixed results on the forums..
