No sound from Playbar/Playbase etc.

Sonos will only decode PCM, (stereo), or Dolby Digital 5.1. If your HDTV doesn't have a way to downgrade DTS or others to Dolby Digital, you will be stuck with PCM. Most of the newer HDTV's have that option. Also, make sure what you choose to receive in audio from you your cable box or BDP, (Blu-ray Disc Player). Most BDP's don't have a choice for the HDMI output in audio so you will be relying on your HDTV system
