New to sonos
I want to connect my TV to a Sonos playbar do I need a cable? The TV has an optical connection I also want to be able to connect a CD player, cassette player and turn table what will I need in this system thanks for the help brand new here

The Playbar connects to your TV via the included digital optical cable. All other sources connect to the TV, with the audio passed through and out the optical output.

otherwise you would need a receiver with HDMI pass through and optical out. Probably at that point would be cheaper to get a Sonos unit with analog input also (like connect or Play:5) to feed the tape and turntable into (seriously ditch the CD player it has no modern use for you).
