I have a playbar with a pair of Play1s and a sub.

I'd like to set up three groups:
  1. TV: playbar+sub+L+R
  2. Kitchen: L only
  3. Living Room: sub+L+R
Not being able to figure this out is making my wife angry. How can I make this happen people?

Hello Stuart,

A Sonos speaker can either be setup stand alone or in a group but can only be in one group at a time.

Regards,

Justin
Why is this? Wouldn't it be better if you could have speakers in multiple groups?

This is what I figured out. I set each speaker as its own group. When I want to play certain speakers I select the source group, then I click on group, select the speakers I want or all then they all play the same source. Now a favorite would be nice but this works really easy
