Hi! Playbar connected to Samsung tv. No real issues for several years since new. Suddenly the volume increases to max automatically. Whenever I press almost any button on Samsung remote this happens. I’ve done complete Wi-Fi reset. Tv reset. Remote reset. Playbar reboot and reset. No fix yet. Can anyone help? Thank you!!

As per title. When playing music with my beam and 2 simfonisk speakers in surround mode the right rear surround intermittently breaks up/cuts out. it works fine as an individual speaker in the same position. I have submitted diagnostics in case helps anyone from Sonos identify the issue. Thanks for any advice/thoughts.

I would like to have a 3.1 configuration with : One Sonos Amp in my “Automotation closet”, with 2 Front Speaker Wired (with phantom center) One Sonos Amp near my TV, connected to the TV through HDMI ARCIs it possible to have this two sonos amp working together ? Thanks!
I have a new arc bar all hooked up but when I turn my tv on after a few hours it defaults to speaker then the arc comes in about 5 min later plus , with my cable box plugged into the tv the Sonas app says that I have an hdmi interference issue .i then have to disconnect the cable box hdmi then the sonas plays then I can hook back up the box Do I always need the app up and running when I use the bar ?
We use the Sonos arc only for tv fidelity. I use the app to adjust volume-but tv volume varies greatly depending on what we watch. Really a hassle to keep phone nearby and set volume for each show. This is not a problem w our previous surround system or when we use the tv speakers alone. We bought the Arc only to improve tv sound fidelity (system is in cavernous great room w open walls) which it does-except requires constant adjustment.Disappointed that the arc can’t maintain consistent volume across tv shows.can you help?
If I set up two Play:1 speakers as surround speakers to an Amp - can I then use Airplay 2 to play music over them? I think this is the case?My question is will the Amp always play music out of speakers hard-wired to it, when playing out of the surround speakers? Thanks
We recently purchased a Sonia ARC, Yamaha RX-V4A and an Epson Home Connect 4010. We have an HDMI cable plugged into the ARC and run to the receivers HDMI output eARC/ARC. Sonia ARC says it can not find the connection when we try it in the Sonos app, hence no sound. HDMI is plugged in to the receiver and the projector. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
I’m using an Arc with a projector, and an HDFury to get audio. 95% of the time it works but occasionally, when I turn on the projector, TV audio isn’t detected. Is there any way, either on the Arc or the HDFury, to force audio back to TV? The only thing I’ve found that works is flicking off the power to the plug strip that powers *all* of my AV kit, as I can’t get to the individual plugs. In doing so, games consoles in rest mode get powered off, which they don’t like. It would be nice to be able to do this manually.
I current have a 5.1 system in my media room w/ a HarmonKardon AVR receiver, Klispsh speakers: two front standing, two in-ceiling surrounds, a sub and a center channel. It’s a TCL TV w/ an hdmi/arc port. Off the receiver hangs a Wii, DVD player and record player. My question: While really only wanting to keep the TV and front standing speakers (and perhaps the HarmonKardon to enable the auxiliaries) would Sonos amp (or Port?) along w/ an Arc (to replace the center, two Architecture in-ceilings, and a Sub allow me to still get 5.1 fm the TV and DVD player?
I have a Playbar and a Beam. But I ALWAYS play the same thing on all my TV’s (I have 5 but use Sonos as my sound for all of them). But if I turn on the TV with the Beam and the TV with the Playbar, the “Group” function is disrupted and I have 2 groups. I can put them back to one group but I have to pick the source. Unfortunately, they both say TV Input. Why can’t I rename them or why can’t it list the room the TV Input it located? I can see this if I look on my Mac but not from my phone.
Hello, My TV has ARC, but not eARC, so I’m getting the HDFury connector to pipe ATMOS from my AppleTV to my ARC. My TV has other sources, and the room has the ARC and the Amp, is it possible to have BOTH my tv ARC connected to the Amp HDMI input and the AppleTV/HDFury connected to the ARC (for ATMOS)?
My Sonos Beam connected to Samsung Q80T tv disconnects on average once every 20 minutes. When this happens it reverts back to TV speakers. It will either reconnect again after a few minutes or I have to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI.I spent an hour on the phone speaking to tech support and sent a number of diagnostic reports immediatly after it happened, but none of the suggestions worked. Has anyone else had this issue? I am wondering if the speaker could be deffective.
Hello,This is my first post on this forum. I’m probably not the first to suggest this, but why doesn’t Sonos allow us to use their ceiling speakers as satellite speakers (not rear speakers) in a Dolby Atmos setup? I own the arc, and no matter what I try, I can’t hear any sounds from above me. I’ve tried turning up the upward firing speakers in the app, but all it does it make it louder. I can still easily tell that the sound is coming from right in front of me instead of above me. My ideal setup is to be able to use 4 ceiling speakers in total: two in the front and two in the back for complete immersion. I hope Sonos is listening and adds this functionality asap! thanks for reading and feel free to provide perspective!
Took delivery of a new TV today and hooked everything up. Sound fine BUT when watching the football with crowd noise the audio dropped intermittently throughout. Changing to the no crowd noise channel, audio perfect. The Beam is connected via HDMI Arc. Sound set to pass through and the E-Arc on or off didn’t appear to make any difference. Any suggestions? FWIW connected via HDMI3. Almost like too much happening was overwhelming the speaker. Connected to two Play1 for surround. Any help appreciated - I’m not particularly experienced in the audio settings so have read several threads before appealing!
Good Afternoon,I have Sonos Playbar, Sub, and 2 Sonos one’s as my rear channel speaker in my family room. I have a optical connecting my TV to my playbar. I am wondering if I can purchase an optical splitter and run an additional optical down to my NAD amp to power my 2 KEF bookshelf speakers with my Sonos system.Any help with this is appreciated!

Hi, can any bright spark suggest a solution please. I want to connect the audio from my sky box (optical) to a Sonos Arc (HDMI). The Sky is connected to an Epson TW7100 projector but I would need a wireless solution for audio. Is this doable at all? So basically, what can I plug the optical audio into something to be picked up by the Arc. Thanks in advance.
My Sonia beam is connected to a Sony TV via HDMI ARC. If I mute the TV for an extended period of time, Beam seems to disconnect from the TV - it doesn’t respond to volume commands through the TV. I can recover by using the Sonos App, telling Beam to play TV, but it’s a hassle. How can I keep abeam connected to my TV during long periods of silence ?
