These specs say it has an SPDIF Coax connection.

Get a Coax to Optical converter from Amazon or the like, connect the coax end to the TV, and the optical end to the optical to HDMI adapter of the Beam.

Hi Ph502772

Need more information. What brand and model of TV do you own?

Are you sure there’s no optical out? Sometimes TVs use a ‘mini-TOSLINK’ connector, which is 3.5mm and can be mistaken for a headphone jack.

Do you have an analog out? This could in principle be run through an ADC to convert to optical.

Alternatively, what do you play on the TV? If it’s external sources, coming in via HDMI, then a cleaner solution would be to use an HDMI switch with built in audio extractor to optical.

This is the black og my tv. Philips 42pfl8404h.

Can I ude sine og these connections?
