Hello all,

I am currently working on a surround set-up for our new home theatre which includes the following:

  1. Epson Eh-ls12000b projector
  2. feintech vax04101 HMDI eARC splitter
  3. Sonos Sub
  4. 2x Sonos sonance in-ceiling as rear speakers + Amp
  5. Soundbar: Arc or Beam2

Our living room is about 50sqm large

Distance between Soundbar and seating position is about 5 meters.

Shall I go for the Arc because of the large room or would a Beam do it since there are rear speakers and the sub?

Thanks in advance

Vin

The Arc is designed to connect to 2.4GHz wireless  or by Ethernot cable. So it should be fine, but I would never be so rash as to guarantee that a particular wireless connection will work!

@John B  thanks for your reply. so connection wise 2,4ghz will be fine yes? my router will be in the same room so I guess that’s sufficient to have a stable connection right?

The Arc, IMO. Especially if Atmos is important to you, as only the Arc has upfiring speakers. That  should make it better able to render the spacial audio.
