Beam / Xbox One / Vizio compatibility

Hey everyone,
I just bought a Beam last week and it's been working great with my TV and iPhone streaming.
However, today I just hooked up my Xbox One and am trying to get sound to come out of my Beam.

I have a Vizio V555-G1.
My Sonos is currently connected to the digital optical audio port on my TV.
The Xbox is connected to the HDMI 1 (also ARC) port on the side of the TV.

I tried selecting "Bitstream" under Optical Audio on my Xbox speaker audio settings, but that didn't produce any sound.

Is anyone familiar with this issue, what settings I need to be on, or how I can resolve it?
I can provide photos of the settings menus if needed.

If the Xbox is the sole source device, I would recommend skipping optical:
ARC to Beam
HDMI to Xbox output
Set the Xbox to DD 5.1 if you can (sorry mine are unavailable to me right now to verify)

Be sure the output from your Xbox is Dolby Digital, and not DTS, DD+ etc. Sonos only supports DD 5.1 format.
