I was wondering if anyone knows how one in a quick and simple way can disconnect the Beam from a connected TV (Sony), but still have it configured so one can switch it on again just as easy?

Turn off HDMI-CEC in the Sony settings? Or whatever Sony calls it?

Stick an HDMI switch between the two and use that to disconnect them?

I tried to change in the Sony tv-meu as suggested. Interesting is when I switch output to tv-speakers, it immediately and automatically forces it back to the Sonos output.

The HDMI-switch would work of course, but I was hoping these was a more convenient way, preferably within the Sonos-app.

Not within the Sonos app, no. You’re fighting with the functionality of the HDMI-CEC spec, which doesn’t allow for that kind of thing, so Sonos couldn’t build it in.

Aha. Good to know; no point trying there.
