Amp connected to TV but not sound coming throigh

I have just purchased a sonos amp and want to use it with my Samsung tv. The amp is connected to the tv and the light is white. It registers on my phone but no sound is coming through the tv when it’s connected. 

Diagnostics number is 611979205


any help will be much appreciated

What speakers did you connect to the Amp? That’s where the sound should be coming from.

Sound should not be coming through the TV, that is kind of the point. It should be coming from whatever speakers are connected to the Amp, or from other Sonos speakers grouped to the Amp.
