There are posts on here that have been locked that are over 1-year old requesting YouTube music 'likes' in the Sonos app. Please action this or allow Sonos speakers as a target for Google cast so we can cast directly from YTM on phones and like there. Yours faithfullyA new Arc/sub/one user
There seems to be a really old thread on this where Sonos stopped responding, so I thought I would follow up - any update on being able to play Apple Music via Google Assistant? This feature has been available for Google Assistant for a while, and I think Sonos may be the only speaker that doesn’t do this in the market. Any update?
Hi there,I was using google assistant on my Sonos One without any problem, and since yesterday, I have a problem : now if I ask vocally to play music on amazon or a radio on tunein like I was doing before, the assistant answers “one device at least is not available, I suggest you to configure it again...” (approximate traduction of the french message).I tried to reinstall Google Assistant using the Sonos Android App, but the problem persists.Note that I can play radios and music on the Sonos from my smartphone ; it’s only the Google Assistant of the Sonos One that does not seem to find how to play music on the Sonos One it self...
Hello! I have a Sonos 1 in the kitchen where I use Google Assistant for music, news and Spotify playback. Music works fine and plays back without issue but we often have an issue where podcasts and specifically CBC World Report playback cuts off early, usually around the same point every day with the speaker stopping the stream mid-sentence after about 4 minutes and instantly announcing “That’s all for now.”All devices updates. No issues with wifi or internet. Any advice would be much appreciated!
I'm sure this question has been asked a number of times, but I'm hoping there's a quick solution. Recently purchased the Sonos One 2nd Gen. I've used the Google assistants as everything is linked. After setting everything up, when asking Google via the sonos speaker.. the GA on my phone activates but it also provides my request through the phone... Whether playing a tune on sportify or getting a calender request etc. So it's playing both on the speaker and phone. Is there anyway of stopping? It's really frustrating. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Lee
I have an sonos setup of the Arc, Sub and two sonos ones including the sonos boost. When I want to setup the google assistant it tells me that I have to connect to the same wifi network. But I cannot connect with my google assistant to this network.I have two of this sonos systems and both has problems to get the google assistant working. I have read through the community and tried multiple things, but no luck so fare with paring Sonos One to Google Assistant. I have tried with both iPhone and iPad. The process stops once the Sonos App “calls” the Google Assistant app and i have chosen “Next” - “This may take a minute or two” after a few minutes the Google Assistant app just returns this error: “There may be a problem”I have tried the following: Deleted the sonos app. Deleted the Google Assistant app. I have reset the Sonos One speaker and added it to the system again.Still no luck.

Steps to reproduce(speak to Sonos one):1,Ok google, play music on Sonosdoesn't respond.but if I ask weather or time, it worked. Hello Guys !I use a few Sonos in my house (two five and a sub + four one) all the Sonos One have Google Assistant enabled with voice match to identify family members speaking. When someone from the family talk to Google Assistant asking to play music, the Sonos play using Spotify (music provider configured in Google Assistant) but it take the last account used in the sonos app.It should be great to identify the spotify account (or other music providers accounts configured on the Sonos App) based on the voice user that ask to play music : I suppose it is possible to identify the google account associated to the voice that is talking to Google Assistant then use this account to match the spotify or other music providers configured on the Sonos App to play with the good account. Maybe renaming the spotify account on the Sonos App to match the google address used by Google Assistant to help identify the account owner or something like that ?Thank you guys to make it possible 😉
I’ve got my Sonos speakers linked with my Google account and until recently I could tell Google Assistant, either on my phone or on my Nest Hub, to “listen to ‘artist/song’ in the ‘roomname’” and it would play the choice on the Sonos speaker in that room. Something seems to have changed recently though. Now if I say “listen to ‘artist/song’ in the “roomname” it ignores the room and just plays on the device that received the request. The Sonos speakers show up in Google Home and in the correct rooms, when someone rings my Nest doorbell the Sonos speakers announce that there’s someone at the door, and if I ask the Assistant to “play ‘artist/song’ on ‘speakername’” it will work. I’ve tried moving the speakers between rooms in the app, I’ve unlinked and relinked my Sonos account and I’ve made sure that my One speakers are set up to use Assistant too, just in case, but it still won’t work as it used to. Any ideas?
Ive successfully used the Google Assistant on my new speaker. However I cant get the feature to work if it moves away from my router. All other services work i.e music playback through the app. I want it in the neighbouring room to the router, all of 7 metres away. All other wifi dependent devices work. Just seems a bit strange to me. Any ideas?
