Google Assistant still doesn’t work, never has. Freezes every time.

I have 3 Google homes and a Samsung Note9 and have years of experience with google assistant. Have repeatedly followed instructions and online tips and tricks to no avail. Google assistant is setup however the white indicator light appears and freezes upon being asked a question. Please help, thank you!

Are you to play music on Sonos from one of your Google Home's? (e.g. 'Hey Google. play soft jazz on [Sonos Room Name]')

Can you open the Google Home App and select the Home button in the bottom left hand corner and then select Add>Set up device>works with Google. Do you see your Sonos account linked with the correct number of Sonos devices?
