Hi, I have a few Sonos Ports to control in ceiling speakers in different parts of the house. Right now I have a few small amps but would like to consolidate that into one multi zone amp that can control 4 different inputs and outputs independently. Any recommendations on an amp?
I have speech enhancement turned on with the arc, but I'm still trying to find out how to hear dialogue better. Is it possible to have a Sonos one SL or another less expensive speaker configured to exclusively play voices?Has anyone else ever experienced the arc with only one back speaker? In that case, how did that sound?
I am going to set up a secondary multi room system using Sonos One SL in 3 or 4 rooms. My main system is a Lyngdorf system which is not multi room. I need to decide whether to buy new Sonos One SL’s or for half the price I could buy secondhand Sonos One (Gen 1). What are the main differences between them ? It is possible that one of the SL’s could be replaced by a Sonos Five so the same question about Five / Play 5 Thanks
Need some help. I moved back to the US from Europe and all my Sonos system is in a shipping container somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. When I got my new apartment, I decided to get a Five to get me through the quiet days of an empty apartment. However, since my existing system is not physically here yet (and may not be for a few months) I have not been able to use the brand new Five since the app won’t forget my old system. Is there anyway to start a new system fresh while I wait for the rest of my products to arrive? The app is painfully unhelpful
My main system is in my living room and is not a multi room system and I now want a multi room system for 3 rooms in the rest of the house. I am thinking of buying three One SL’s but need to understand if they will do all I want. I have a subscription to Qobuz and a sizeable collection of flac tracks on my PC and want to be able to access these. I also want to be able to play podcasts from my IPad and also listen to radio stations. I want to create playlists which can be accessed by any speaker I want to be able to play something different through each speaker at the same time. Will 3 One SL’s be able to do this or will I need to buy a Port as well
Hello. So I currently have a beam and 2x play ones in my living room. My question is a straight choice between adding a sub the existing set up or swapping the beam for the new arc which I believe is alot more powerful. Either option would be similar in price. If anyone has any thoughts or experience with this any input would be greatly received. Thanks in advance.
HiI know there have multiple questions similar to mine. But, not quite the same. So here goes.I have an ageing Onkyo TX-NR1009 AV Receiver and KEF KHT3005SE 7.2 Egg Speakers and wireless subs. I love my system and it was expensive at the time. In our old house I had wired in and it was sweet. However, we have now moved and It’s pretty much impossible for me run cables to rear positions. So I’m thinking I maybe buy Sonos to provide coverage to the hard to reach spots. The way I see it I have a few options. Even though I don’t know if they are technically possible They are in my order of preference.Buy Sonos and incorporate it into my existing setup to provide the rear speakers and other awkward positions. But also use Sonos to playback through my existing speakers Buy Sonos and keep it separate from my existing for either music or TV only. Don’t buy Sonos and find a way to make existing rear speakers wireless - any ideas ? Buy Sonos and dispose of my existing hardware - rather no
I am looking a purchasing an Amp and a pair of outdoor speakers. Given where I am the sonos out door by sonance are the same price as the B&W AM-1 which one should I purchase? The reviews on the B&W are all very good but the sonance ones have some complaints about the depth of base. Just looking to see if anyone else has looked into these types of options.
I have an all Gen1 system, that includes a ZonePlayer. I can handle all the other stuff not working, but the Zoneplayer is what controls speakers in my yard with the outdoor TV.NO matter what I try I can not get the Zoneplayer to connect to the S1 app. Any suggestions?
Everything was working fine with my arc and Panasonic tv.But after the last Sonos update:The tv sound is not in sync. The (sky) remote no longer controls the arc volume/mute but now controls the tv instead. The tv sound plays at different sync to arc at the same time. Not sure what’s got out of whack. Any help welcome.thanks

Hi , i’d like to know please when trueplay will be supported on ipad pro 12.9 5th gen latest iOS 15.6? I used my old ipad (no longer have) for trueplay setup on multiple Sonos products i own e.g. arc/playbar/subs/ones etc. just updated all to firmware 14.12 and now need to redo trueplay - the sonos app just confirmed that trueplay not supported and i’m now stuck. I would appreciate letting me know. I have already looked at the usual sonos help pages. thanks.
Afternoon all,Bit confused. Removed a SUB from the kitchen environment and replaced it with a new one. Only reason was the colour! Kitchen redecorated in white and a white sub fitted in more 😀 The (removed) black sub I created a location for in our Hall / Stairs area. That area already has two pairs of B&W CCM 682’s in ceiling … one pair in hall, one pair on landing. Also an existing Sub on landing. Tried to add that and indeed the device was reset and added to the environment. But when I try to add it to a room, only three Amps are visible. Interestingly the new black square Amp’s. The slightly older Connect Amps do not show in the app yet they are S2 compatible. The Hall/Stairs/Landing device is an S2 Connect Amp. Arguably it could benefit from an upgrade to the 125W unit but surely that should show and allow the second Sub to be added to it? Any ideas on that? I’m going to do a full network reset tonight and see if that helps. it’s been a while since it was all rebooted. The S2
Heading to a boys cottage weekend and have a choice of what to bring for stereo music setup.cottage has wifi speakers will be placed inside in a large open room Pair of Play 5 Gen 2s stereo paired pair of Sonance by Sonos outdoor speakers powered by a Sonos Amp (newer one)which one should I bring to maximize sonic characteristics?
I’ve had Sonos for years and slowly upgrading to S2 and just bought a Port and tried to connect to a recently bought Naim Supernait 3.unfortunately i get a “feedback hum” when I connect the phono out on the Port to either the stream or AV phono sockets on the supernait (have tried with / without av pass though, as well as line out volume on the app as fixed / variable or pass throughat mo not sure if issue is Sonos end or Naim (will post same question on Naim forum shortly) any suggestions / help ?
Hello,I have a network setup, where I have a Zyxel modem connected to the ISP, with 2 WiFi APs connected in LAN ports, and an ethernet switch connected to a LAN port directly in the modem as well. The ethernet switch connects the rest of the wired devices in the house. When I wire my Sonos Beam, it creates the SonosNet mesh and the rest of the speakers connects to this, everything looks fine. After the Sonos has been connected and everything is set up, random disconnects starts happening on my network. Every device connected through the switch loses connectivity to the modem. The devices connected through the switch still has connectivity between them, but the modem seems to have dropped off the network. The WiFi APs are still online with connection to the internet though, so I know the modem is still online. And the switch is working since the devices connected can still ping other devices on the IP they had before the modem dropped. When I remove the ethernet cable from the Sonos Bea
Hi! I am using playbar and sub with two play 3s as a rear. Movies are excellent but muaic is lacking. The 3's and sub sound really good but the fact they are behind my seating position puts me in a "inverted" sweet spot. Granted, i do not have the urge to listen to muaic in stereo ofren, but still i like to enjoy it from time to time. What would you do of the folowing:1. Buy a pair of ones and put as rears and.move the play 3s on either side of the tv and use them for.music2. Buy a pair of ones and put them on either side of tv and use them for music3. Buy a single five and use it for music only4. Buy a move for.music onlyThank youNeven
Hello allIm aware this is a question that has been asked before but im yet to find a solution or answer that i understand.I have a client who has an old Cob house with super thick walls. We have wired in TP-Link access points to each room with a single SSID on Auto channel configuration. This is so all devices can roam inside and outside on the same network seamlessly. This works fine for all phones and laptops etc. With the new Wireless network in place we reconfigured the Sonos system setting up as like brand new. When in the Kitchen, id reset the Play1 Sonos then it would appear in my app and add as usually expected. When i then walk in to the Lounge. i see the App look like its lost connection as the username etc goes Grey, then after 15 seconds it appears white and showing connected apart from its no longer showing the Kitchen Sonos device. I continue by resetting the 2 x Lounge Sonos Play1 devices and add as a Stereo pair again in the usually expected manner. I can now see both co
Afternoon all. Have a feeling I’ve asked a similar question before struggling with way forward on this one.I have a Panasonic GZ2000 TV in a small/medium size viewing room. It has built in Dolby Atmos speakers (think 11 small units from memory) but does not really delivery on it’s promise sound wise. This is linked to a Sonos Amp and two B&W CCM682 in ceiling speakers. There is a budget wireless sub woofer as well which does OKish. I’ve been thinking to add an Arc, a pair of Ones and a Sonos SW. I previously installed positions for RJ45 & power for the Sonos One’s and the TV has power & Rj45 at the rear to run the Arc off. Same with the SW position. But …. the Sonos Amp feeds the two in-ceiling B&W’s and they are logically in the wrong place. They are in line with the TV rather than left & right of it. Why? Originally the room was supposed to be just for listening. Then at the 11th hour (after speakers were installed) the plan changed to be a viewing room. I’ve attach
I have 2 routers. The main router in my house (let’s call this “router A”) and then a cat 6 cable runs from router A 100’ out into my garage to “router B”.my speaker will not work with router B. All of my other Wi-Fi products work fine (computer, iPad, etc). The speaker drops continuously. I have done a factory reset, and also connected speaker with cat 6 directly to router B. Still have problems. The speaker works fine on router A.what setting needs changed on router B?
