Using MyCloud Service

I can connect to directly to my MyCloud NAS. Does anyone know if the native MyCloud Service that can be added to Sonos is a better option. If it is a better option how do you structure music on the MyCloud so that the service will recognise and order your music - I have added the service and see the Artist, Album, Song, Genre headings but there is no content under any of these despite there being content on the NAS. Thanks in Advance

Connection of Port to phone deck, CD player etc

Slightly unclear if the port will only connect one phono item i.e. i’ll need multiple ports to connect my old system to the sonos system and / or connect through a pre amp?

To Sonos .. I have to say that your product is the biggest pain in the a$$ to get going .. With todays tech .. Can’t we just get it so I turn it on and connect to Bluetooth like other speaker products  .. a bit frustrated !! Great sound .. crappy integration

upgrading components to enable airplay

I have a number of older components grouped into various rooms and as I understand it , none of these components support airplay.  From reading community responses it looks like I would have to upgrade only one component in each room in order to use airplay in that room. Is that correct? (e.g., playbar, sub, and two play ones in room….I would replace a single play one with Sonos one and then entire room would be enabled….is that correct?)

Speakers don't connect at once

I have many speakers throughout my House.  When playing via Spotify and I change a song, the speakers don’t all connect at the same time and might take several seconds or longer to finally connect, even in the same room

Can’t you just use Sonos speakers as speakers? No internet involved just plane old speakers.

Browse Feature Apple Music

Why can I no longer use browse on Apple Music? I use to be able to see Top Playlists, Top Albums and etc. I do not want to have to go search each time.

Mesh conflicts with separate systems

I have two apartments in Omaha NE, across the hall from each other. I uses macs & iPhones, all up to date. I use an eero mesh wifi, with a CAT5 cable connecting the two apps, so we can use the same wifi addresses etc in both places, one backup system, NAS for music library, etc.   I have 9 SONOS components, 5 new, 4 old. I have them arranged into two separate systems, one connected with an overhead projector working through Roku & CONNECT, using S2. The other in the apartment across the hall using S1. This system has worked flawlessly for several years.    I recently upgraded the eero to 6 PRO (doesn't use the 6GHz band but has multiple 5's for back traffic & continues to has 2.4GHz. This new wifi easily reaches across the hall, with all 9 systems logging on to both zeros, leaving me with the problem. Virtually every time I open either app, it tells me that I have legacy components that can't be used, and will not load the system. I have to go to the other apt and unplug th

Sonos AMP Stops playing on different platforms

Hello, we have a problem with our sonos amp. When we are playing music from Spotify etc. he on random moments stops playing. Amp is connected with cable to internet. We moved device to other location and problem is same. We tried factory defaults and firmware upgrade but nothing help. Can I please for some tips, what should we check.Thanks

Create different sub system within overall system for listening to music

I have a Sonos Arc, Sub, and 2 Play 1’s. Can I listen to Music differently and with only the 2 Play’s + Sub (2.1) instead of with all speakers including Arc 5.1?

Speakers disconnect and connect on and off

Playing in groups (4 rooms) my speakers connect and disconnect on and off. Not the same.I have changed the channels. But no effect. It is like SONOS is constanct seraching for connection and turns on and of.Very disturbing. Regards Carl

Sonos Play 5 Gen2 Refuses to play

If I don’t use my Sonos Play 5 for a few days, weeks etc. then come to use it with my Ipad, I go into Apple Music and then AirDrop, which shows the Play 5 as actually playing but no sound. Then sometimes if I leave the music may just randomly start playing out of the blue without doing anything else, after ten minutes or so.

Audible books search function still not available

Why has the books search been removed from the sonos search function? I used to be able to search my audible audio books using this function but it was removed some time ago due to a sonos upgrade and I am unable to return to the previous (‘classic’) search function. I was advised months ago by a Sonos tech person that this issue was being escalated but still nothing has happened!

Sonos not respponding

I've tried the bot bet it doesn't understand the question. It is complicated.I have seven devices. They are currently arranged in a group of four with three separate individual devices. I can play the group of four and the other three individually but I cannot move any of them either out of the group or into it. I receive a message" Unable to connect to device. Try again later". I have reconnected the modem and reinstalled the app but there's no change.Can anyone help?

initially i bought 7.1.2 Sonos system and now i am upgrading to 7.1.4 (era 300) , should i sale Sonos one rear speakers or there is a probability that in future will be able to use them with 7.1.4.?

Sonos Radio issue

I have a customer who runs a gym and has a Connect connected to his soundsystem. He is having regular issues with the mornings alarm not playing the radio channel via Sonos Radio but goes straight to Chime. We’ve tried to change radio stations but the issue is still there. It does not happen every morning but more sporadically, so its hard to track. Went there today to do some more testing and we are having problems with radio channels. I tried different services like Sonos Radio, Tunein etc. but none streamed the radio. Added my spotifyaccount to check and that works like a charm. After an hour of tinckering the radio started playing again… =/ PC has been restarted, Connect has been restarted, Network is ok (Lots of other stuff connected which has no issues at all)  Diagnostic:1937825018 - Can anyone see if anything is logged here?  Thanks, Jan

Amazon Music Showing Old Speaker Names from a Different Network but not current network

Problem:  After resetting and moving to a new residence (and wifi network) Amazon Music shows the old speakers names and not the new one’s I recently moved from one residence to another.  I factory reset all the speakers and gave them new names on a new network. I am thinking about starting to use Amazon Music and not Spotify.  This is a showstopper!  Spotify and all my other apps show the new speakers properly at the new house. I just installed Amazon Music on my phone.  I cleared cache and wiped settings for amazon music and the old speaker names still show up.  None of the new names or speakers show that are on my new wifi network.  How does it know the names of the speakers and old house/network that existed previously?  I have both the S1 and S2 app installed.   I am thinking I need to wipe cache and data from both the S1 and S2.
