Sonos controller for PC does not load music.


Sonos controller for PC displays the message "Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Reason: Access to the shared folder "\\Owner-PC\Music" is denied." when I tried to add a music library. We have re-installed the controller and changing sharing permissions to "Co-Owner".

Hi Rex, it sounds like a software firewall is still blocking Sonos from accessing the music share. Have you checked our FAQ's regarding their configuration? https://sonos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/692/ DH
I have just checked, and all of the things that the instructions say to untick are unticked.
