Sonos and google

Why can’t I control my sonos fully though the google home ?

or just cast the audio on sonos speakers ? Airplay but no googleCast ?

or group my Nest Hub with my sonos speakers ?

And let’s not speak about the disappeared volume volume control on pixel devices.

As someone owing nest hub and sonos devices, that situation is frustrating.

Things could be so much better if you worked together on providing features to your users, rather than screwing them because you can’t get your act together.

It's always good to see reasoned, articulate contributions on here.

Perhaps you might look at Google instead of Sonos, since they are the ones responsible for integrating the API that Sonos has made public for all companies to use? See the Sonos partners page. You might also ask them why they’ve only partially implemented the features supplied by that API?

While you’re at it, you could ask Google why they infringed on various Sonos patents?
