sonos 2 app, trying to update speakers

I was prompted to download the new Sonos 2 app on iPhone.   I see all my speakers but each one says requires update. When clicking on update it just takes me back to the App Store to open the app and round and round again

Welcome to the Sonos community and thanks for reaching out to us.

I would recommend the following steps accordingly.

  1. Uninstall the Sonos S2 app that you currently have installed on your iPhone.
  2. Open the Sonos S1 app and check for updates
  3. Once the Sonos S1 app prompts that the Sonos system is up-to-date, download the Sonos S2 app from our website.
  4. Open the Sonos S2 app and follow the prompts.
