Are there size limitations to Imported Playlists? I had one playlist of about 20 that would not import. I. Tried and tried variations to get it to import. Only when I split it in three parts did the Imported Playlist work for those titles. The original playlist I created included about 3500 songs.

Hello there, mwheelerk. Thanks for posting! I am happy to clear up any confusion about our limitations. When it comes to imported playlists it heavily depends on the format of the playlist. For instance,

iTunes Playlists
  • Max 40,000 Tracks
  • Max 1,000 playlists imported to Sonos

M3U
  • Each M3U file counts as 1 entry toward the 65,000 track limit
  • Total number of tracks (65,000) - Number of indexed tracks = Maximum number of M3Us imported

PLS or WPL
  • Each of these playlists counts toward the 65,000 track limit. (ie: A 200 track PLS counts as 200 entries)
  • Total number of tracks (65,000) – Number of indexed tracks = Maximum number of tracks allowed in imported playlists

Hope you find this helpful!
