S2 Upgrade wont allow my Sonos Connect to work

I have just upgraded to S2 and the app tells me my SONOS connect wont take the upgrade and I have to pay an upgraded model . 

 

How do I get my system back to S1 controller so I can enjoy my whole system again?

 

I feel I am being ripped off

Your Connect must still be on S1, so just use the S1 app and verify they work together. Then one by one factory reset each of the devices that are on S2 and Add them to your S1 system. Stay away from the S2 app.
