My S1 controller on my android phone has, up to a day or two ago, controled all devices on my system, some “legacy” S1 devices and others newer S2 devices. I presume an update has occured and as a result all the S2 devices have dropped off my system. I have tried resetting the S2 devices but they remain unseen by my S1 controller. Quite apart from the irritation and time wasted I am appalled by the plan, by Sonos, to effectively cause perfectly functioning devices to become obsolete. This can only have a commercial motive, ie to rip off and treat their customers as cash cows. If I cannot get a solution to this nonsense I will never buy another sonos device ever again and will council any of my well heeled friends to avoid this company with a seriously problematic business model.
If any sonos advisor would like to contact me and talk me through a solution...and it all works when he finishes the call then I may be tempted to rivise this view
