Can't use new upgraded sonos controller on my Mac 10.9.5. Sonos Support offers no solutions.

Hi there, jomusiclover. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. The Sonos Desktop Controller (v8.4) can only be installed on Mac's running 10.10 or higher. If your computer is running 10.9, please check for any software updates on your computer. You may have an update for your computers OS, which in turn, should allow you to use Sonos. If your computer does not have the ability to update to 10.10, we are unable to have this computer control Sonos with the controller app.
That sucks.
