How to remove “Use Sonos S2 app” screen

I cannot use my Sonos S1 controller because the black prompt screen can’t be removed. I have no S2 products, and no interest in upgrading to S2.

Nothing works — there is no link I can find to remove the prompt and use my controller the way I always have.
