Question

How to downgrade from controller version 7.0 to a previous version on osx 10.6?

Hello, does anyone know how to downgrade from controller v7.0? I am running osx 10.6 SL and the other day the controller app notified me of an update. After updating it would not connect to my music library. It also said there was another update. When trying to update again it responded by saying there are no updates!

I have tried deleting the app and restoring from a time machine backup, however the first thing it then does is insist on upgrading to version 7.0 again.

From looking on the Sonos website v7.0 is not compatible with osx 10.6.

Anhy help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

You can't go back I'm afraid. It may be that the further update is for the players, after you have upgraded controller.

You can access your music library (i.e. play music) from the controller on OSX 10.6, but not reindex. If you have a phone or tablet you could reindex using the controller on there.
OS X (macOS) 10.6 isn't supported at all. It's too old.
