So I'm embracing the fact that the CR100 controller is coming to the end of its life and thought I'd turn it off and remove the cradle/charger from the wall.

It's that many years since I mounted the cradle on the wall though, that I can't recall how it clips/unclips from the backing plate. Don't really want to just tug at it!

Any suggestions please?

The back of the cradle is screwed onto the wall and front of the cradle "clips" onto the back bit screwed to the wall. Look from underneath and you should see the tabs to push in one at each end.

So if you squeeze these tabs they should release the front part. Once the two parts are separated you can unscrew the bit mounted to the wall. - Hope this helps.
