So is there no way to turn off the nag screen to update to S2 in S1?

It’s filling out like 1/3 of the screen, it’s pathetic.

I thought the whole idea with S1 was to branch off us oldtimers who are not interested in going along with the new Sonos direction.

No way this was a mistake since it’s programmed with a route to chose between two alternatives and information about incompatible products. You made this in an attempt to get some extra users to brick their old components but now you’ve realized that it was maybe a bit too deceptive and now you back off and present it like a mistake.

Will you please stop nagging us now?

Permamently.

Hi @T-S

Customers with systems that are not yet updated received a banner on the app reminding them to update to the Sonos S2 software. This was mistakenly sent to customers with products that can not be updated to S2. We do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion. If you wish to continue using the S1 app and remove the banner, please click More Information, then Learn More and then Continue using S1 in the Sonos app.

@Corry P glad to see this acknowledged, any chance the web site can also be fixed to correct the count on the System page that says “You have X products in your system that are not compatible with the new app, Sonos S2” as X is way too large.

Hi Corry,

This solution does not work on IOS 14.4 - the “continue using” option is simply not there. How can we remove this update message?
