Cannot get Sonos to connect after WIFi verification.

Hello. I’m completely new to Sonos so need some help. We have 3 Sonos speakers pre-installed in our new build bungalow.

I have downloaded the Sonos App and the Sonos Controller App to my Android phone.

My first question is what’s the difference between these apps?

They both go through the same processes.

After creating my account, they search for devices. Usually only finding 1 of the 3 speakers. I go to the speaker and press the button. The speaker emits a tone. Then it says connect via cable which is not possible as it’s too far.

Thanks guys but I’ve now managed to connect. It seems the thick walls block wifi signals.
