Why did the app just update (June 2021) and make me have to allow bluetooth? I use this on wifi. I find the forced app updates a royal pain in the a$$.

In your phone’s settings, you can disable automatic app updates. And in the Sonos app, under Settings > System > System Updates, you can turn off automatic system updates.
