Apple lossless files stutter on S1 controller but not S2

I have a stereo pair setup of Sonos 5s. Using the S1 obviously. When I play apple lossless files I've ripped through itunes some stutter. When played on S2 capable (Beam, etc.) They do not stutter. I have tried separating the pair and it still happens. Any thoughts??

Suspect there’s some issue between the speakers on S1 and your router in terms of wifi interference , but not between your S2 speakers and the router. 

Might be useful to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem on the S1 side, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
