Hi - Currently I have 3 room groups. Kitchen, Bedroom and sitting room. I have one Sonos One speaker but the rest of the set up consists of a Playbar, Sub and 5 Sonos Play:1 boxes. Do you know whether I will need to have a 'newer' device (Sonos one/playbase etc.) attached to each group or does the fact that I have one Sonos:one allow me to keep the groups of older speakers working nicely when the new facility comes along?

Thanks,
Richard

It appears that an Airplay compatible speaker (One, Play:5 2nd Gen, Playbase) will need to be in the group.

You may be able to use Airplay in a similar fashion to the line-in on the Connect, Connect:AMP and Play:5, using the line-in as a source to send to the rest of the devices, but we'll have to wait and see!

Thanks. Sonos will certainly shift quite a few of these new models if this is indeed the case.
