Question

Why have almost all the Spotify playlists disappeared from Sonos?

Since the last update, only a handful of recently accessed Spotify playlists are accessible to browse through the Sonos app on my PC. The ability to browse Spotify’s curated playlists was a feature I used on a daily basis. I can only assume that a bug has been introduced in the latest update which has caused this loss of functionality. When will this be fixed?

Spotify are responsible for their content, you need to ask them not Sonos. I think they have changed their SMAPI service quite a bit recently (eg removal of genres from Search) and it sounds like this is another unfortunate change.

Instead of using browse, use search, type the name of a genre (e.g., “folk,” “jazz,” etc.), and you can find all of the old Spotify playlists incorporating your search term in the results under “playlists.”
