I just bought a bunch of new Sonos devices so that I could upgrade from Sonos S1 to Sonos S2. However, I cannot add Apple Music. Both on macOS, iOS and iPadOs, Apple Music is not in the list of services.Norwegian customer service tells me that this is “a known issue” and they are working to solve it. They have been saying that for a month, but are unable to give me any more info or an ETA of when this will be resolved. I am starting to become a slightly frustrated. Any ideas?
Hi,I run the Sonos S2 app on my Macbook (current OS Ventura 13.4, but problem has persisted since Monterey) and it’s connected to a Belkin Thunderbolt dock, which provides network connectivity via ethernet. When I stop work in the evening, I power down and disconnect the dock. The next morning, when I power up the dock and wake up the macbook, the Sonos App goes unresponsive and I have to force quit.Anyone seen this?
Have been running seven Sonos zones using older hardware and S1 controller on iPhone and iMac with no problems. Upgraded to MacBook Pro macOS Ventura. Mac-version S1 controller hangs and won’t boot. PC-version S1 Controller (running under Windows 11 on Parallels) boots, but won’t recognize any Sonos devices. Might be incompatible port configuration. Very frustrating. Any ideas?
I have been experiencing an intermittent issue, whereby internet radio is interrupted for up to about 5-10 seconds, every couple of minutes. This issue never happens when I am streaming music from my NAS drive, only with internet radio.I have monitored internet traffic and can see no spikes or other errors when the problem occurs. The broadband is running at well within the capacity of the router.Yesterday when it kept happening, I changed the WiFi channel of the Sonos and today, so far, the problem hasn’t happened. I don’t understand why this would be the solution, otherwise why would streaming from a NAS not also suffer?I have a Play:1, Play:3 and Connect in my system. The Play:3 is wired to the router and is the primary speaker in the group. All speakers are in a single group as I always have the same music playing in all rooms. Before I changed the channel I rebooted the router and the speakers, but the problem persisted.Any advice or opinions welcomed. Apologies if this has bee
Trying to run the controller on MacBook always asks to check for updates finds new update installs then ALWAYS errors Sonos update failednow unable to use controller or Sonos on the laptop due to not allowing the older version of the controller to runany solutions
I accidently added 30 tracks to my favourites on Deezer. I can see no way of removing all of them at once, only right clicking, select info, select delete from favourite tracks then confirm deletio9n. That’s four clicks per track so 40 clicks to remove 10 tracks - crazy! If anyone can show me a quicker way I would appreciate it.
I've had no problems at all with bbc sounds for 2 years. I had to update my sonos move it in the week and when I say Alexa play BBC radio 2 it says ‘playing bbc radio 2’ but no sound then plays. I've done the whole settings thing on both the alexa app disabling the skill and waiting and i’ve removed bbc sounds from the sonos app. nothing works.
Good morning all. Last night I installed the first 2 of what I expect to be many Sonos components in our new place, a beam and sub. I've been browsing the forums and I am happy to see such an active group. I'm sure there will be many questions across time I will have for you all. I installed and set up the components and connected to my pandora account with no issues other than ones discussed here already. The room sounds great. I installed the app on my wife's phone and it immediately found the system and hooked up using my login credentials. Here's the question. She has her own pandora account and will want that running when I'm not around. Is the fix to this as simple as reinstalling the ap and having her create her own Sonos login to be able to set her own credentials to log into her pandora account or am I over thinking this?We will be quickly adding a couple of amps with outdoor speakers, another sound bar on a second TV and speakers in a rec room along with satellites for the
I had an older S1 Sonos system in my house that I sold last October (2022) in order to travel the world looking for cool surf spots (a geriatric Endless Summer). Now I am considering purchasing a Roam for my travels, and am wondering if there is any way I will be able to access my old playlists from the S1 home system. I still have my Sonos account and the S1 controller on my phone. Any help here will be greatly appreciated, as there were a few playlists I’d love to have back.
A similar question was posted 6 years ago but I could not find anything helpful in the results…Any radio station hosted by TuneIn I have seen does not seem to display the song and artist info in the Sonos app. It shows for the same station in the TuneIn mobile app, so the actual station is sending the info in the API to TuneIn. I do not recall that this having ever worked for me. Is this a TuneIn or Sonos issue?
I've recently upgraded my computer and it now has a new name, but the same data drive which holds my music files. I'm using Sonos V1. When I try to play it gives an error that it can't find the music drive on my old computer. I've tried to change the folder in Sonos, searched the registry for any instances of the old computer name, searched the drives for any file containing the old computer name. All without success. Any ideas?
Is this normal/expected behavior? When I add or remove a room to music currently playing via Spotify connect, the music stops everywhere. This happens when I add/remove rooms thru the Sonos iPhone app (S2), or if I am just walking into a room and I do a long press on the speaker’s play button to add that room to what is currently playing. Its very annoying. Has anyone else had this experience and discovered a solution?
Only the first 5 artists show in 'my music'. Same with albums, only the first 5 show up. If I click on tracks, they're all there. Search function works to find artists and albums. I've deleted and readded Amazon and the sonos app. Still only shows first 5. I'm on S1 and this is across all devices used.
No sooner do i fix this function (by some combination of clearing the Sonos app cache, restarting the phone, and/or deleting and reinstalling the app) than it stops functioning again. Does anyone know the solution? Or if Sonos is in the room, can you please ask your engineers to fix this function? Thank you.
Good morning, looking for some help here as driving me nuts now!BBC Radio 2, in this instance, but same with all BBC Sounds stations. Drops out after 10-15 seconds. So far, I have hard wired a device, rebooted all devices, deleted app, re-authorised Sounds, and still have the same issue. If I Airplay from a device to a Sonos, it works without issues.Which leads me to the Sounds/Sonos issue? What can we try next?
