Volume Issue dolby atmos verus HD or ULTRA HD
When I stream music with the Sonos App from Amazon Music Unlimited to my Sonos Arc + Sub 3 + 2 ERA 300 surround, the volume increases a lot when a Dolby Atmos track plays. I need to lower the volume for at least 10%. Then when a HD or ULTRA HD track follows I need to come back to the initial volume. For example if the standard volume for a HD or ULTRA HD track would be 20%, the same volume for a Dolby Atmos track would be 10%.Setting the lecture mode in fading (“fondu enchaîné” in my french app), doesn’t fix the problem. It’s really annoying !Does somebody know how to fix it ?
Volume Leveler for App
Most frustrating part of the app is that I can’t adjust all the different speakers to the same volume level with a one-button click. Like a “sync all volumes now” button.Anyone else experience this frustration? It seems like such a straightforward feature versus having to individually slide 10 different speaker zones when you want to volume level.
FEATURE REQUEST - The ability to search for Dolby Atmos specific music with the Sonos App
Not sure if this has already been asked for, but it would be nice if the Sonos App showed which tunes were in Atmos for the new Era 300 speaker. Currently my work around is to find an Atmos album in Amazon via my Amazon Music app, then search again in the Sonos App to play it. It’s a bit of a faff!
Unable to connect to music service Airsonic
Hello! I have my own Airsonic docker music server I use to stream to my phone and listen at home or work and the Sonos app has Airsonic listed but when I try to add it, I only get “Check your network connection” with Try again or Not now. This is via Android app or Windows app. I do not have any ports blocked on the local LAN and I can connect internally and externally to Airsonic. Can you recommend what I could look at to figure out the issue?
Queue search results
Hello,Does anyone know if it's possible to add all the results from a search "on this mobile device" to the queue at once? I assumed maybe it would load all the tracks if i just started to play one but it doesn't. It only adds that one track and starts playing it. I'm problaby just looking in the wrong place or missing something because it most be possible right? Looks like a basic function to me. Adding all the tracks one by one is not very user-friendly. I'm on android and have the S2 app.
Change Profile address
I am trying to correct my Profile address. At present the system has moved my address to USA. I do not live in the USA. I have never lived in the USA.I want to correct it to my UK address.I change all the details, having selected EDIT, SAVE the changes and the system then reverts to the US address! How do I fix this?
Had Sonos since 2015. Great product. We used to play Spotify a lot. No issues until few weeks ago. No matter the category after few songs adverts appear, especially Metallica, and - nothing - system goes on pause. Have cleared cache, rebooted router, no difference. Yes we've always had adverts, including "listen to these and get 30 min advert free", which has disappeared. Don't have this issue if we play music via Sonos Radio. It's only started since Metallica appeared.
Sonos S1 no longer finds NAS network path
This issue is similar to “Sonos no longer finds NAS network path” but is S1, the library is very small and the ping to the router where the NAS is seems to be fast. Router (Nighthawk R7000) has a small USB-HD connected as a network folder. All accesses with NO password. My desktop (Windows 10) is able to connect as network location but Sonos S1 (from desktop or Android App) is not, that means, S1 is not able to add a music library as a network device. The error is related to "Server stack" (error 900).Like the other question, this was working fine for years and for months now Sonos no longer accesses the music library. No idea what could be changed in my system.Think I have tried all net-basic things but no luck. Need help. Any advise ?
Connecting to my Synology NAS
Hi everyone, it’s been asked often, but I couldn’t find the answer. Since yesterday sonos can’t access my Synology NAS. “Access to the shared folder is denied - check the username and/or password.”SMB1 is clicked, as is NTLMv1 authentication. Using the controller S1, but same problem when accessing via windows pc. //NAS/music or \\NAS\music//192.168.1.11/music (and also back-slashes), all don’t work and give me the same error message. Can anyone help? Thanks! Amar
Search Local Music Library - Sonos1 Controller
Hi, if I’m not wrong, it was once possible to search a connected local music library using the Sonos 1 controller. Currently, search functionality works only for connected services like Spotify. This is a real bummer of a limitation. Is there any way to revert back to the more comprehensive search index?I read something on the Web saying it was possible to choose between “classic” and “new” search, but that ship seems to have sailed. Is there any way to go back to classic search, assuming that’s the way to search a local music library?
Sonos creates "Various Artists" (in the artists list) and then shows a list of collection albums
I have just rebuilt my whole iTunes library. Every number has its own artist, which also has his own folder in the music library. I have NO folder with the name “Various Artists”. However, when I open the SONOS app to the artists list, I see all artist neatly listed but ay the end of that list (under “V”) I see an artist with the name “Various Artists”. When I then click on that, I get a list of collection albums which in turn holds e specific number.NONE of these music numbers is tagged as being part of a collection.E.g: Parel Williams with the number “Happy” shows in my iTunes library as a folder “Pharrell Williams”, which hold the music file “Happy”. Sones shows this item ONLY under the artist Various Artists and (when I click on that) the album “Despicable me”. This album is not flagged as a compilation.Where do I go wrong?
Unable To Add Songs To Queue
I have spent 48 hours doing research about this issue. I’ve reset my network and turned everything on in sequence. I removed my Amazon account and added it back to Sonos, but no luck. I can play songs from any station via Amazon, but cannot play anything from my play list.
(S1) Playing a SONOS radio station & it just stopped. Went to App to restart, but it wouldn't. Each time it responded with "Unable to play the radio station". Could not get other SONOS favorites to play, either. Went to support, clicked on Chat (Bot) in case there's an easy answer, nothing happened, not even a place to enter the problem. Closed & re-started app. No different. Is SONOS down or is there something else I need to do?
Removing On this mobile device feature for Android
I received an email a couple of days ago saying that due to issues with Android 13, the play music on this device will no longer work, so the feature will be removed from the app on 23 May.I can't see this up for discussion on the forum.I have a few questions. Is this S1, S2 or both? Is it not possible to work around this in the software? Why remove the feature for everyone on 23 May when many users aren't using Android 13 yet and could continue to use the feature?
Cannot play my playlist from Amazon Music using the Sonos app
Hi.In the 'My Sonos' screen in the app I would normally select one of my playlists that is linked to Amazon Music Unlimited. Now when I want to play a song from my list I get a message 'unable to add songs to the queue'.I have turned off the speakers for a about half a minute, uninstalled and reinstalled the app (it is up to date) and also rebooted my phone, but this hasn't worked. I can use the cast function in the Amazon Music app which does work, although it is not as quickly 'responsive' as using the Sonos app when changing songs or fast forwarding etc. However, for other playlists that are available on Amazon (but none of my own) they play OK. So not sure why my list doesn't play?(Is using Cast the same audio quality as streaming directly in the Sonos app? I have Amazon Music Unlimited so stream HD/Ultra HD).Any help appreciated! Thanks.
