I am the main account holder, when on the sono app, when I search for a specific song, it doesn't play it, it selects artist of similar kind or same atlrtiwt but didn't song. This feature I expect if it was someone in my household sharing my account as a 2nd person but not the main account holder. Being the bill payer I expect to be able to play what I want. Any help appreciated
Several months ago I started to experience connectivity problems with my Sonos system (2 Connects and a Connect Amp): songs would skip mid-play; connections were dropped with increasing frequency; playlists wouldn’t download because of encoding errors; etc. The problems got worse and worse until the system became essentially unusable. I looked on the Sonos Community site and found several people reporting similar problems, but no solutions. I finally discovered a fix and wanted to share what I learned in the hopes it may help someone else. When I installed my system, I connected the Connect Amp and one of the Connect units via ethernet (over my home wiring) and the second Connect via Wi-Fi. (I assumed the Ethernet connection would be faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi.) For a couple of years, everything worked fine; then I started having trouble. When I started to experience problems, I tried suggested fixes like restarting all my devices and rebooting the router, but none of them work
I was unable to find any mention of this in the forums, but my latest Sonos Mac controller (15.10) always shows ‘The queue is empty’ when playing music from my Music Library. The version on my iPad correctly lists all of the song titles in the queue. Not a major deal (I guess), but it prevents me from being able to clear the actual queue from the Mac controller. Is anybody else having this problem?
Hey there,As a result of a PowerPoint issue, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. As soon as the power is restored, all three rooms appear to be working. It won't play anything until I play something. Tune In does not have any radio programs. My Tidal streaming account was used to listen to music. Once again, nothing. I need your help!
I have two Sonos Ones setup in their own rooms, and want to create a third called House so don't have to keep selecting them both when I want to do that, or as I add new speakers in the future. I do not have the option for everywhere, or to hit the plus and create a custom group. Ideas?
Hello people, I just realized that my Pandora (opened on Sonos app) only shows and plays 4 of my 80 channels. When I try to turn on Sonos from Pandora app I get an error message saying system unavailable. It works fine from Sonos controller but with only 4 channels showing . I have removed and reinstalled the app and it still just shows (same) 4 channels. Has anyone run into this issue or have a fix?
I recently bought a new MAC and updated to S2 in Sonos. My music library consisted of CDs that I ripped into iTunes and LPs that I digitized and downloaded into iTunes. All these wma4 files are kept in one main folder on an external hard drive. I was able to connect S2 to the library but the songs that I digitized myself are not connected to their artists or to their album titles; there’s just a long list of songs that are listed alphabetically. What do I have to do to get S2 to recognize the tracks in the format that I need to make them playable in a useful way? I’ve contacted both Apple and Sonos Tech Support but neither of them were any help, both saying that it wasn’t their problem.
I use Niagara launcher but the media widget controls do not work. Does Sonos support proper media controls? Every other media widget works fine. This is from the Niagara support docs... ask them if they can support transport controls & implement proper media sessions (e.g., you can share this Medium article).
Unable to connect to RadioApp via the S2 App on my iOS devices. Means I can’t listen to my local radio stations. Is it an ad issue? Updated my phone app 2 days ago. Am running SONOS via BOOST. I have multiple devices (i.e. heavily invested) in my SONOS system.
when adding pandora to sonos system. Now the first prompt you see after selecting activate is a new step to put in an activation code. There is no information on where this code is located. This is new. I’m a dealer in Tampa Fl and have done 100’s of systems and have never seen this. Anyone else running into this?
Problem: After resetting and moving to a new residence (and wifi network) Amazon Music shows the old speakers names and not the new one’s I recently moved from one residence to another. I factory reset all the speakers and gave them new names on a new network. I am thinking about starting to use Amazon Music and not Spotify. This is a showstopper! Spotify and all my other apps show the new speakers properly at the new house. I just installed Amazon Music on my phone. I cleared cache and wiped settings for amazon music and the old speaker names still show up. None of the new names or speakers show that are on my new wifi network. How does it know the names of the speakers and old house/network that existed previously? I have both the S1 and S2 app installed. I am thinking I need to wipe cache and data from both the S1 and S2.
