Hi,Yesterday my Spotify just stoped working on my Sonos system.Im having a AMP (black one) and its been working since I set it up.Sonos app is playing the “Sonos playlists” but when I play start play from spotifythere is no sound. I have tried restarted the network, amp etc but nothing helped.Using a TP Link Deco X60Is there anyone else having this issue?
After working with four Sonos tech support people, my wife somehow got my playlists findable on my Windows computer However, they are not findable on my iPad and iPhone. However, the song that is playing does appear as normal on the two devices when the sobg is playing. Any ideas?
I have some audio books as mp3 in my local library that have a rather big difference in volume between some tracks. In example the third track of the audiobook is noticably more quiet than the second and third. So much, that i need to adjust the volume to listen to it.This problem seems to be only present while listening through the Sonos system. When i play the same files on my windos computer (built in Groove App or VLC) or via various apps on my iPhone the tracks are at a comparable volume to one another.I tried fixing this with MP3Gain program by changing the metadata (REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN Tag) but before my changes this is compareble with the other tracks. When i change the tag and increse the volume to this one track it is indeed louder when i play it in Sonos, but it also gets louder in all other mentiond replay devices/apps too.Does anyone have an idea, why Sonos seems to behave different to all other playback devices/apps and how to fix this?
Hey there,As a result of a PowerPoint issue, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. As soon as the power is restored, all three rooms appear to be working. It won't play anything until I play something. Tune In does not have any radio programs. My Tidal streaming account was used to listen to music. Once again, nothing. I need your help!
For some reason still unknown, the day after I disabled SMB1 on my Sonos (S2) library, I was unable to access it from any device. The typical suggestion is to just delete the library, then add it again, so I tried to do that.FYI, my library is on a Windows Server 2019 machine - this is not a NAS or USB connected to a router.I have a large library - around 100GB, and Sonos was unable to index it, telling me that the server share was “no longer available”. If I instead populate my library with a TINY number of artist folders, it will index with no problems. Sometimes after croaking on too large an update, it works the second or third try. I’ve seen this problem in the forum before. What is the bug with Sonos indexing large libraries/folders?!??
I understand this has been requested before but just want to add myself to the list in terms of stating that it would be a really nice feature addition if Sonos could allow the prioritization or sorting of which Music Service results show first when searching. Thanks!
Hi! What happened to the Sonos Radio collections? Just a week or two ago they were still found there. Now I can only find and listen to the Sonos stations saved in my own Sonos. You can still find those collections and listen to the Sonos stations on the Sonos website: https://radio.sonos.com/collections but I do not know how to find them again from iPhone app. Please help!
Hi there,For some reason, Spotify won't play on my two Play 1 speakers after I've been using it with Sonos for some time. Playlists keep skipping songs and saying "unable to play song, connection lost". It usually starts playing after 3-5 skipped songs. The speakers are wired, and have been working for a long time. The speakers have been rebooted. Reconnected Spotify to the Sonos app. Router reboot. It seems that all other speakers (Arc, Sub, Play5 and one/sl) are working just fine.
I have radio stations on Amazon Music saved as SONOS Favorites and when I play some that have not been played for a while, I get the error “Requested operation failed. Please try again.”. Is this a SONOS issue, or is it related to my Amazon Service. Does SONOS limit the number of recently played stations for Amazon Services or is this a credential issue with Amazon? On the SONOS Favorite that is failing, I can do a search for the radiostation in Amazon and then it will play. However, if I try to start it from the favorite link, I get the error message.
Just after some product advice please. I am due to receive a sonos beam gen 2 next week. I am an iPhone user therefore will be looking to do the sound test where you move your phone to different parts of the room for the best sound. I just need advice with regards to my living room to provide me the best sound. To describe the room - it is one large room - that used to be 2 rooms. We sit in the first half of the room, but it is also opened up to the second part of the room. When doing the sounding test. Should I move my phone into the extended part of the living room too up into the top corners? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Regards Lee Whitfield
Hi everybody,so I just got 3 Sonos One speakers last week and overall im quite happy, but one major issue is that AirPlay doesn’t work as its supposed to. Connecting via AirPlay works well in most cases, but disconnecting from one or more rooms/speakers is not possible. It just keeps playing, loads for a long time (see screenshot) and then nothing happens. The only fix I found is to restart my iPhone (13 Pro). Never had to restart it before, now I’m constantly turning it on and off.Does anybody else have the same issue? Any tips on a fix? Thanks for the help!
Hello all,I’ve an issue with my Sonos Amp and my LTE 4G router/modem TP-link MR600. Hoping I’d get som advice here 🙏🏻The Amp (wireless) gets its dynamic IP from the router but for some reason the Sonos app, which I’m told communicates with the router rather than the Amp, stops working along with the pop up “cannot connect to Sonos”.Upon rebooting the router it all works for an hour or two and then it fails again. The Sonos Amp is the only unit in the system.I’ve no guest-network.5Ghz is disabled Unfortunately the Sonos support stopped supporting when they learned I’m using an LTE modem, (fiber not available) as they cannot guarantee functionality for their products using 4G internet. I don’t quite buy that as the reason the app loses connectivity though. I do however realise that a combined modem/router like my TP-link MR600 may not be the best setup and that possibly a separate router would be preferred.Any help or hints would be very appreciated 🙏🏻
