Hi

Despite checking Windows 10 firewall allows private access to Sonos controller and Sonos library, I am still geting "Unable to play 'xyz.mp3' - unable to conect to //room/user

Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't.

Has anybody had this?

Hi @Arrowmaker

Thanks for your post!

I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports, but before you do so, please make sure your Windows 10 PC knows that it is on a Private network, or it will ignore all local requests for communication from other devices, like your Sonos speakers. This is the most common cause for such connection problems.

Make a Wi-Fi network public or private in Windows

I hope this helps.
