I am fairly new to using Sonos and streaming services. I have found a streaming service, Presto Music, that is not listed on the Sonos list of streaming services that I can access and add. Can I add a streaming service not listed? If so. how do I do it?Thank you.
I have my old Sonos products on the S1 app and my new products on the S2 app. The S1 app is now giving me the above error message and asking me to upgrade to the S2 app. When I click on ‘About my system’ the S1 app only shows the products linked to the S2 app and doesn’t recognise the old Sonos products
Please add the capability for the Sonos apps to sort one’s Music Library leveraging the Sort metadata fields on a given release. For example, in Apple Music/iTunes, one can choose how their Library is sorted based on alternative text in the sort as fields, as below:Note: by changing the album field’s “sort as” text from the album title to the convention: Artist - Year-Month-Day - Title, I am able to then organize and search through my entire Library of albums by a given artist, and then the albums ordered chronologically, thereafter.Another use case is an album series, named as “Volume #” and there are 16 albums in the series. The Sonos app does not sort on numbers, smartly - meaning, it doesn’t recognize that 2, 3, 4 come before 10, 11, 12, because it’s only looking at the first integer. Instead it orders as follows:Volume 1 Volume 10 Volume 11 Volume 12 Volume 13 Volume 14 Volume 15 Volume 16 Volume 2 Volume 3 Volume 4 Volume 5 Volume 6 Volume 7 Volume 8 Volume 9My only workaround
“sonos controller installer failed to download. lost connection with server”I realize this has been an ongoing bug with the Sonos Controller S2 app for years, It started after the release of the S2 version. I’m just wondering if Sonos support will ever try to resolve the problem. The workaround continues to be to download the latest controller app, install it, then run the Update Now to push updates to the devices. This same problem occurs on any of the three PCs I run the controller from.

I mean seriously, how understaffed is the team in charge of Trueplay?Everytime when new iPhone models released, it’s not weeks, but months of waiting for Trueplay being available on the latest iPhones.So Sonos, can you check with your team on this years timeline on that?
Hi there, I frequently use my Sonos system to stream live radio, and I exclusively listen to add-free stations. In the past, TuneIn Radio, and then Sonos Radio have worked perfectly well for finding and streaming my preferred stations, but over the years both services have added more and more pre-roll and even “mid-roll” advertisements overlaid on top of the original stream. The best solution I have found for this annoyance is to load the Streaming Station URLs manually in the Sonos desktop App. It is a bit of a pain, but it a one-time pain, and way better then listening to the ads. But I really do miss the station artwork. Please add the ability to load custom artwork alongside custom streaming URLs in the Sonos app!
Hello @SONOS star team. I will compile, and edit to add over time, the things I noticed and would recommend for our collective reflection here. Please comment to contribute your ideas too, and I can add them to this OP so that it’s easier for the SONOS developers to have it all in one place.Special thanks and appreciation for Keith, whom I “met” on Reddit and guided I use iOS, latest of everything at all times: iPhone and SONOS App version. Allow manual/ user ranking/ rearranging in My Sonos > Edit (top right corner). Ditto in Browse for existing music services. Add a “tip” bubble to let people know about 3D Touch available throughout the App. I see use it in My Sonos to select Play in Another Room… the most. Add Alarms to the SONOS icon itself on the Home Screen when using ForceTouch/ 3D Touch (Currently: Search, My Sonos, Play - Resume Last Played). Detect WiFi issues and walk the user through fixing them to lighten the load on your Support Team, PR hit with people spewing c
Anybody out there able to get to a classical recording on Apple Music using the composer and opus#?I find any attempt to “drill down” into a more specific search (artist, type of composition, key signature, etc.) always results in an Apple “I can’t find anything” response. T.I.A.

I have a ton of playlists I wanted to share the lists with a couple buddies (just the lists not the actual music) SonoSaver (search for it on the web) does the job.I can save each Playlist as a CSV, convert then to Excel, clean up and sort to my hearts delight and pass along.
I am using Spotify on my Sonos system (era 300 + one), and I am surprised that it seems to be impossible to enable Spotify autoplay (keep playing recommended songs after an album ends).I have found old closed topics about this from 2 years ago, is it still impossible ?I understand that some people hate it, I love it, it would be amazing to just be able to enable / disable it.Thanks !
I’m having all sorts of connectivity and grouping issues on large varied Sonos system ONLY with Apple Music. Other music services work fine. What’s up? Looks like Sonos not purging previously played Apple Music so occasionally receive error, “system in use elsewhere”. Usually it just plays Apple Music on certain, but not all, grouped speakers.
A few times our internet has gone down. We use sonosnet between five speakers - one wired via Ethernet and the other speakers daisy chained. is there a way to setup a backup internet with a hotspot through my cell phone? I’d need to easily toggle between the hotspot and our Ethernet using sonosnet (when the internet starts working again). my preference is the Ethernet but the hotspot usage would be a backup.

Hi all - I have a number of Sonos speakers ; era 100, era 300 and move 2 . The era 300 are in pairs and also singularly . I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max . in all the settings for all the speakers , I’m finding the quick trueplay option to sound “cleaner” in lots of ways . The most obvious thing seems to be the treble response which is more muted when using the detailed trueplay option . Clearly one possibility is that the iPhone isn’t doing the job properly .. but that the only possibility ? Thanks 👍🏻

Current Setup: I have Sonos Arc, the Sub, and Sonos Arc, added to this I have also setup Sonos App.Laptop - Macbook Air M2,Mobile: iPhone 13 Max Pro / iPadDesktop: Windows 11 - connected to wired network via Ethernet (wired).I subscribe to: Tidal, Bandcamp With both Bandcamp and tidal i have the option to go high-res so i had following question: Does the Sonos App support Hi-res qualitry stream from both Tidal and or Bandcamp?

Hello,Since 16.5 update we can no more control the volume or skip using the iPhone hardware button or the Lock Screen buttons.I’m aware that it’s an Apple limitation. Why Sonos do not propose some control center button for basic features (volume +/-, skip, pause/play).It would be very effective for user experience.
I’m used to using streaming music to bluetooth speakers. You go out of range and the music stops - I get it.Today I was using the Sonos App to stream tunes to my pair of Sonos One’s. I had to go out and I figured that the music would stop and the speakers would go into standby as I would be out of range. But no, I came back home and the speakers were still playing music… huh?Explain to me like I’m 5 please.Thanks!
