As move as I love the Move why when using it via Bluetooth does the music cut out when I open Whatsapp? I'm not even playing media sent in a message, just opening the app...🤷‍♂️😖

 Is there anyway I can disable this?

That’s definitely a strange one. To me, it sounds like Whatsapp is taking over your phone’s media control, like it would when you play a video or audio file.

Does it only cut out when you receive a new message? If that’s the case, it could be that Whatsapp is sending the notification tone through the Move, which would interrupt your music. 

 

Unfortunately I’m not aware of how to fix this as it seems to be an issue with the Whatsapp application, rather than the Sonos Move.


Maybe disabling the media auto download feature in WhatsApp will stop this?
