sonos amp airplay streaming

HI when I use airplay streaming music, then I couldn't control the volume to max.maybe if I turn to 80% volume then it auto change to 20%. My speakers is 4ohm.  When I use 8ohm speaker haven’t this issue ThanksLuke

News start playing by itself

I have one Sonos One standing in my kitchen. My parents are on vacation since about too weeks, but this night I was laying on our couch next to the living room watching tv and the box just started playing news about the current Ukraine situation. I thought the tv might have triggered it and tried telling it to shut up, but since it didn’t answer I checked and the mic was off all the time. I am alone at home so this was kind of scary, especially since I myself haven’t used this box for the last few days. This happened once before if I recall correctly but back then (it’s about 1-2 months ago) I didn’t give it any attention and thought my mom had done it (when telling her she left the news on later, she told me she didn’t turn on the box).Did this happen to anyone else before or does anyone know how/why this happens?

Itunes won't load on either S1or S2 app

Hi there, is it a known problem with the iTunes, that you can't add a service currently? I have deleted and reinstalled a few times, but it gets so far then just stops. Worked perfectly previously. Cheers

Speaker drops from system

After sporadically having one of my speakers drop from the system after starting a stream I noticed that I had left the personal hotspot on my phone turned on. I suspect that was interfering with the speaker Wi-Fi connection. Turned it off and all was good.

Radio station plays every other day on only one speaker

Since about 3 weeks I have a strange issue, my Sonos seems to be haunted. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday my Sonos 1 plays a radio station at exactly 5:11 AM. I am unable to find any settings why this is happening, but it kind of drives us crazy as the speaker involved is in the bedroom. Anyone else having had this experience?

Amp Confusion

Hi and thanks in advance! Currently buidling a home and have loved my Sonos 1 but want to have the in ceiling sets in the new home. I’ve read about how the amps work and have read multiple threads and still not exactly sure what my best option is. I want to have a set in my living room, another set in dining room and another set in my kitchen. Do I need a seperate amp for each location? Very rarely will I want to play all locations at the same time. Ive read you can only control the volume for all of them but can you pick a certain set that are playing and another set that is off/muted? Or do I need to just purchase 3 amps? I read some articles that talked about using the Monorprice but that is over my head a lilhttps://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=13727 Thanks in advance!

Group Vollume not consistent

I recently helped a friend setup a Roam, 2 Sonos One’s and a Move. When we group and want to change the volume for an individual speaker it changes the volume for two of the 4 speakers. For example when I change the volume for the Roam the volume changes for the Roam as well as one of the One speakers. There are no pairs setup. Only happens when in a group. Please note I am aware of group volume and can individually  change the volume for each room separately but when I do two rooms volume changes.

ATMOS sound with ARC + In Wall + In Ceiling

Hey gang,We have a SONOS ARC and SUB and it sounds amazing. Have some questions about how to integrate this for ATMOS with some architectural speakers? Like - how many AMPS will we need? And will this all work haha? Here’s our setup and question/situation laid out in more detail, haha: The house we bought/renovated came with 4 built in wall speakers perfectly placed for surround sound - 2 in the front, on either side of the TV (and about 10 feet apart, 2 feet above ear level, per Dolby). And 2 in the back - about 10 feet behind us, at ear level. Honestly, all pretty close to spec with what Dolby recommends when you go on their site. So that’s all good. On Black Friday, I found 4 SONOS in-wall speakers to replace these - as the ones we had are third party, and I know Truplay won’t work unless you use the SONANCE, yeah? So we’re going to get these installed. So that’s the first question - to have these work with the ARC and SUB, do we need one AMP or two AMPs? Ive seen several posts in t

Connect stopped playing from my receiver

I have had Connect working with my receiver for years. It stopped working. I have plugged it into working ports on my receiver and it doesn’t work. My Play 1 speakers work just fine. I have powered it down. Restarted it multiple times. I have rebooted my network multiple times.

Mac Controller Plays Wrong Song

Hello!My controller routinely plays the wrong song. I will click on a song/album, but it plays something completely different.Using controller app on macOS Monterey 12.3 and Sonos Controller 14.2 (both latest version). I have experienced this problem before on earlier versions of controller and OS. It seems to have returned.Typical flow to recreate problem:Now Playing has a current list of songs. Navigate to Apple Music > Recently Added (or any other configuration). Single click on a song/album from the list in the far right column. Hover over and click the down triangle on a song/album. Click on “Replace Que”. Sonos does NOT play selected song/album -- instead it plays a song/album further down on the list. It replaces the que, but plays a totally different song that I never even clicked on. This happens every time I repeat the above steps. Has been happening for about 3 months now.I want the problem to go away. Probably requires a software correction. Sharing here so others can ad

Problem in reconfiguring Symfonisk speaker

My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?

Unable to connect in Sonos app

HiI feel like there is an issue with the app,  I have Ones with Alexa, and if I go away for a day or so, and I come back and try to use the Sonos app it says it’s unable to find my devices on the network.  However they are on the network, there are no issues with my network, if I give the speakers an Alexa command they respond as expected even though the Sonos app doesn’t find them.  The only way to get them to function with the app again is to unplug them and plug them back in again then everything functions until they sit for awhile, which is getting to be a pain.  Thanks

music fall out on radio staions

I experience constant fall out every 1 minute for 3-7 seconds on all streamed channels in Sonos library, EXCEPT national channel DR and it’s local stations. Anybody can help?

On this mobile device freezes after a few minutes on Android

Ever since the new upgrade when I shuffle on this mobile device everything is fine initially but after a couple of songs the queue changes and freezes. Sometimes the music plays without the now playing updating. Eventually I need to relaunch the shuffle.  Any idea what is going on?

Speaker drops

While listening to music, one of my surround sound (Sonos One) drops. It’s as if it goes to sleep. I can pause playback and immediately unpause, and the speaker comes back to life. The problem seems to be isolated to one speaker and only while playing music. This doesn’t happen with tv or tv streaming. Any suggestions?

connect:amp stops playing. sub still playing

Hi! I’m using connect:amp whit sub in living room!when I’m playing music the sound from connect:amp stops 5-10 seconds every 2-4 minutes. But the sound from the sub keeps playing. it doesn’t matters if I play Spotify, radio or something else, it always happens! I have checked all connections ant it seems fine. But I’ve noticed that the connect:amp get really hot sometimes, but I still have the same problem when I start it when I’ve cool it down!I have tried so many different things. Does anyone have experience the same? Or having any idea what could be wrong?

reduced sound from one Sonos 1 speaker DR: 1532092781

Hi, I have recently upgraded the SONOS app and added Amazon music, after a day the sound on one sonos one speaker (there are 5) is poor, sounding very muffled. I am about to add a Sonos port to the system, but I’d rather clear the sound issue, assuming I can before I add it. I have read other posts about similar issues but very few show a resolution, any advice ?CheersJohn

Podcast not coded correctly

Encountering issues with certain podcasts that cut off suddenly and I cannot restart as I get "not coded correctly" error. Happened while using Stitcher... Got thru episode using Iheartradio, then, still using Iheartradio, following episode cut off. Can restart but not advance episode, same error, 2 different apps. Help?
