Facing Spotify Issue.
Hello,I have used spotify with sonos for a long time now, but for some reason spotify cant play on all my speakers specifically my two Play 1. When i start a playlist it keeps skipping songs and says “unable to play song, connection lost”. Usually after 3-5 skipped songs it will start playing. Both speakers are wired, and have been working for a long time. I have rebooted the speakers. Re connected spotify to sonos app. Router reboot.Everything else seems to work just fine, all other speakers (Arc, Sub, Play5 and one/sl) are working perfectly.
Turntable EQ problems
I'd like to be able to EQ my turntable and have it set differently than the normal EQ settings I have going through my beam 2 and surrounds while watching TV or streaming music. My first issue is that when I add the Connect to the TV room it creates a separate TV Room 2. I'd like to just add it to the existing room but it doesn't seem possible. When music is playing via turntable to connect to tv room setup, the EQ with the Connect doesn't do anything for the sound. It is only when I go to the speakers playing the music, tv room, I can change EQ settings. Id like to just have something set for the turntable as it needs a little more bass and don't want to have to change EQ settings when switching back to TV. Basically TV Room 2 EQ doesn't work at all.Can I just add the connect to the TV Room? Can I have a separate EQ setting just for the connect/turntable only, that will play music in my TV room setup? My setup is aTV RoomBeam Gen 2Surrounds SL gen 2TV Room 2Turntable into Sonos Connect Ge
Radio station plays every other day on only one speaker
Since about 3 weeks I have a strange issue, my Sonos seems to be haunted. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday my Sonos 1 plays a radio station at exactly 5:11 AM. I am unable to find any settings why this is happening, but it kind of drives us crazy as the speaker involved is in the bedroom. Anyone else having had this experience?
Autoplay for Turntable and a Pair of Fives (Cross Posted in Speakers)
Hello, I have been searching and reading this forum and did not find any definitive answers. I have an old Sony turntable with an external preamp. Autoplay does not work, as many have stated. I have to always (re)select the Line-in as source. The consensus seemed to be around a pre-amp that is always on. That said, I just ordered an U-Turn Orbit Theory turntable with built in preamp. Has anyone had success with the autoplay on this or other U-Turn turntables with the built in pre-amp? Just trying to set my expectation. Yes, I have autoplay selected for the line-in and for that set of speakers (room). Thanks in advance! <<CROSS POSTED>>
Sonos Amp- surround sound with separate room
Hey all-I want to build a surround sound system for my TV using existing Arc and Sub (gen 3) while incorporating new Sonos Amp and 4 architectural wall/ceiling speakers. I am placing 2 additional ceiling speakers in an adjacent room and hook all of the speakers to the amp via a speaker selector. Would the speaker selector allow me to turn off the 2 solo speakers when using TV/surround sound and would a single amp be able to support all of this? I know that the amp can support 6 architectural speakers but not sure in this arrangement. Hopefully this can work and save me from having to buy a second amp by only getting a speaker selector. Thanks!
Sonos Wifi Not Working and Tried Everything
I have a Sonos Play 5 that now won’t connect to Wifi. It’s been fine for 3+ years. Works fine with an ethernet cable but just won’t connect. Tried absolutely everything except mucking around with the BT internet which BT said would be a mistake. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Problem in reconfiguring Symfonisk speaker
My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?
Hi.AMP that is just unpacked and connected to power makes noise. No loudspeakers connected (no cables at all except power), so the noise is mechanical.Noise is especially noticeable when AMP warms up.It is not very loud but still annoying in quiet room. AMP is new, never registered to Sonos servers.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance,Tanel
Sonos One connection issue
Hi Sonos community. I have a strange issue whereby my Sonos One is clearly connected to the internet with all voice services working and music via it playing, however it does not show up on the app. It occasionally reappears but is very spotty when doing so and will present an error when trying to join speakers together. It is also not playing via Airplay, just showing up an error. This is a new issue and has always worked fine previously. I am using a Sonos Boost so to my knowledge should stop issues with WiFi interference, mesh networks connectivity etc. I have also tried all usual fixes including resetting my router, powering down speaker (will usually connect for a while then not any longer) and factory resetting the speaker and re-adding to system. Once it was added it worked ok for a small time but then took 3 occasions to set up True-Play as it kept losing connection to the speaker. Any suggestions as this is getting rather frustrating! Thanks
broken sonos one
Hello,One of our sonos one box just stopped working. We don’t know why it doens’t work anymore. We saw that the light on top of the box didn’t light up anymore and then we noticed it didn’t works. We bought the box in november 2019 at the BCC store in Veenendaal. We already went to the store but they told us they couldn’t help us because we were past the guarantee period unfortunately. Is there anything sonos can do to see what’s wrong with the box? Kind regards Randy Hulsken & Laura Diepeveen
On this mobile device freezes after a few minutes on Android

Issue with pairing Playbar and One
I have a Playbar and One that are paired together. However, from time-to-time, the Playbar will just stop playing music (even when it says it’s on and paired with the One) while the One works fine perfectly fine. I know the Playbar is a Gen 1 and One is a Gen 2, but I’m not sure why the Playbar would just stop playing music. Sometimes the Playbar will be on and recognized on the Sonos app, but it just won’t play music from the get go. Other times the Playbar won’t even be recognized when I turn music on. When either of these issues pop up, I have to unplug the Playbar and plug it back in for it to start working. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
While listening to music, one of my surround sound (Sonos One) drops. It’s as if it goes to sleep. I can pause playback and immediately unpause, and the speaker comes back to life. The problem seems to be isolated to one speaker and only while playing music. This doesn’t happen with tv or tv streaming. Any suggestions?
connect:amp stops playing. sub still playing
Hi! I’m using connect:amp whit sub in living room!when I’m playing music the sound from connect:amp stops 5-10 seconds every 2-4 minutes. But the sound from the sub keeps playing. it doesn’t matters if I play Spotify, radio or something else, it always happens! I have checked all connections ant it seems fine. But I’ve noticed that the connect:amp get really hot sometimes, but I still have the same problem when I start it when I’ve cool it down!I have tried so many different things. Does anyone have experience the same? Or having any idea what could be wrong?
Choppy streaming but music library plays ok
Hi. The only service I presently subscribe to is Idagio. For the last week or so, it’s been unlistenable. It’s choppy, and cuts out every minute or so. I also have my itunes library in Sonos, and those tracks play fine. It’s just the streaming. To check whether or not the problem is with Idagio or Sonos, I signed up for a free trial of Primephonic, and that cuts out exactly the same as Idagio. How can I deal with this?
Sonos PC app repeatedly loses connection with system
Both Windows 10 and 11 sonos app is repeatedly dropping connection to system and requiring restart of computer etc. This is happening in the middle of normal play and for no apparent reason. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. Extremely annoying.
Mac Controller Plays Wrong Song
Hello! My controller routinely plays the wrong song. I will click on a song/album, but it plays something completely different.Using controller app on macOS Monterey 12.3 and Sonos Controller 14.2 (both latest version). I have experienced this problem before on earlier versions of controller and OS. It seems to have returned.Typical flow to recreate problem:Now Playing has a current list of songs. Navigate to Apple Music > Recently Added (or any other configuration). Single click on a song/album from the list in the far right column. Hover over and click the down triangle on a song/album. Click on “Replace Que”. Sonos does NOT play selected song/album -- instead it plays a song/album further down on the list. It replaces the que, but plays a totally different song that I never even clicked on. This happens every time I repeat the above steps. Has been happening for about 3 months now.I want the problem to go away. Probably requires a software correction. Sharing here so others can ad
spotify - seems a recurring problem and no clear answer
Hi, I cannot connect to Spotify - the main reason I bought the Sonos system for - with the warning ‘ connection to Spotify lost’ appearing each time. I have read the streams and they talk about faulty Ethernet connections etc. If that was the case how does Spotify work fine with Echo systems, tune-in radio works fine, Sonos radio etc etc? The only problem is Spotify. Playing music on a speaker is supposed to be a simple process and you should not need a PhD degree in electronics. I have issues with getting Alexa to work on Beam, but let’s leave that for now. So Sonos , you need to get your act together by sorting out these problems and being proactive with your customers - who are paying a premium for a better service than this.
