The Dock was killed off during the 9.2 update.

There are plenty of other ways to listen to your podcasts.

Line-In

Airplay

(Computers) Music Library

you can also save them to your phone and play them that way.

iOS

Android

Hope that helps.

Wow. What happened with the latest update? The controller page looks like it went backward in time. And I can no longer play the podcasts I keep on my Nano through the dock. Has it been eliminated entirely from the controller? Or is there some arcane work around?

No. I use an old Nano that clips to my shirt at the gym, connects in my car, then pop it in the dock and listen throughout the house. None of your suggestions has that convenience. Last thing I want to do is strap a phone on at the gym.
Wish I had not updated.

Well.... dock or Line-In... literally the same thing. Just one wont charge the nano.

The suggestions will work, you just seem to be frustrated and not willing to use another method.

If you have a computer at home, you can always just play from the music library using your computer or phone, that I assume you use to control your Sonos in order to play from the dock anyway.

....okay?
