Another negative review of Port sound quality.  What HiFi said the same thing.  To add insult to injury Sonos increaeds the price $50 like the AMP supposedly because manufacturing moved to Malaysia which is not believable.

Why is that not believable?

Don’t bother with that poster.  Check out the posting history; the next time they post something positive about Sonos will their first.  They are obviously only here to stir things up.

Because the wages are also starvation level in Malaysia

Hah.  Personal attack is all you have?  I’ll bet I have far more Sonos equipment than you.  That doesn’t mean I’m weak and have to drink the kool aid.  Go ahead and check my postings, see how that goes for you.  I have an ARC and two 5’s on order by the way.

I didn’t attack you personally, I attacked the content of your posts.  Big difference.

I don’t know how you could ever know this, but who cares?  There are more than a few people on here that trash Sonos but cannot bear to get rid of them, and also keep buying more.

Well, I believe that was an actual personal attack.

I’ve read them.  None are overly positive, most are extremely negative.  Now go ahead and have the last word, I’ve already given far more attention to your shtick than it deserves.

I’m not in manufacturing and don’t know the ins and outs, but I imagine labor rates are negotiated, and would not be surprised if Sonos is having to pay a higher rate simply because it’s a new contract.  And of course, labor isn’t the only factor, since you have to have the raw materials shipped to the location, and pay for shipping the product to warehouse locations, etc.  I would guess there’s also one time costs associated with the move as well, perhaps Sonos having to pay to get out of contracts, etc.

So I don’t know, but I can believe it.
