Is anyone using miniDSP devices with a Sonos Connect? If so, are you still able to achieve sync with other sonos speakers or does the miniDSP add delay to the music playback?
I am thinking the following scenario:
Sonos Connect (optical / coaxial out) => MiniDsp device (e.g. miniDSP 2x4 HD) => Amplifier line in => Speakers
Speculating that the Dsp device will add some delay at least but not sure if this is bad enough to lead to out of sync playback with the rest of my sonos speakers (play 1, Play 5).
Any experiences with the above?

Looks like 1 or 2ms depending on configuration. Unlikely to be noticeable.

Thanks for the heads up 🙂 I had actually seen this as well which is very encouraging. I was hoping for some real life experience to confirm if possible.
1 -2 ms should be fine though.
