Is anyone using the new generation Sonos amp with a second amp powering a passive subwoofer?  I’m trying to hook up a Rockville RPA-9 amplifier powering a Polk  atrium sub from the Sonos amp with no luck.  I’m wondering if I need to try a different amp for the sub.

You want to take the line level out into the bridge input on the amp, make sure you change the selector on the back first, and then hook up your sub to that.

The sonos should detect the sub is connected and send everything below 50-100hz (you decide) to your sub/amp and everything above to the speakers connected directly.

Is the amp balanced input only?

Oh, and I take it you have turned the sub out on?

The new amp now has to be turned on, it is not just auto detect.
