Sonos amp skips while playing vinyl plus Play 3 keeps dropping audio

Hi, I have a Sonos Amp connected to my record player but it is unlistenable as it constantly drops the audio.

I also have two Play 3 which are on a Connect network which keep dropping audio.

Any help would be very well received.

Try changing the line-in compression to compressed.

Isn’t the whole sales pitch on vinyl and the sonos amp that you can get a higher quality sound because it is not compressed?

With the most recent software update 10.6.2, you can set the line-in to uncompressed and set a separate audio delay to later, adding a longer buffer and helping to prevent cutouts.
